DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SOFTWARE IS ON THE WEB??? LOTS!!!!and while there is lots of technically ILLEGAL activity going on.....(did you read the above??..good!) there is also a lot of SHAREWARE and FREEWARE out there too!
SHAREWARE is basically "try before you buy" software you download, and it may have a restriction on it...such as time limit...you can only use it for a certain amount of time until you have to pay to register..or function limit...you can only do parts of the whole program, until you give someone money to register.
FREEWARE is just as it's says...FREE! you can download it, and install it without having to pay anybody. where the programmer makes his money, who knows. a lot of screen savers that are commerical are FREEWARE. the Budweiser frogs screen saver is FREEWARE....neat too! if you can't find it, e-mail me..i've got it in a zip file! about 1 meg.....

before you go off on your bold adventure to find shareware or freeware. if anyone finds any other good shareware/freeware sites, please e-mail me and i'll put them here...this is a start though...with some of the best known sites!!!!!!
